All the other Jananians and Baiganian. So I thought while training we’ll form the
bond of friendship and also train our brother here. Our lad here is working on his biceps.
You used to ask us a question. So I said let’s ask the question before the camera. Ask away.
Tell us, why are you shaking? Tell us how to gain weight. Very good question how to
gain weight especially skinny guys who want to get big. There are those who have a huge
belly. But here, you want to build up and you want to have a solid physique. We’ll
get back to your question. We’ll first finish off your set. The weather is going to get
cold soon. So I’ll train him while I simultaneously answer your question. I’ll give the answer

you feel the biceps tighten now. That’s how you gain weight. So guys how do we gain
weight? Paaji has asked the question. It’s a very common question. We received a lot
of emails and messages on the aforementioned topic. No. 1 you need to understand if you
need to gain weight you have to work out. Just as paaji has struggled and worked hard.
You can’t gain weight with injections. It’s false. Unless and until you push weight. So
what happens when you push weight? When you go to the gym and you are lifting weight;
this is your muscle. Your muscles tear and break. You give them proper nutrition and
they grow. In order to gain weight there are essential things that you need to put in your
body. No.1 is your carbs. The foremost important thing is your carbs. Unless and until you
take certain amount of carbs. Your body won’t grow. Carbs in the source of energy. When
you take carbs your body is provided with more energy. And through that you can push
more weight and then on No.2 you need proteins. That will help you recover your muscles and
nourish your muscles and grow them. So unless and until, the No1. Thing is that your intake
must include carbs which gives you energy and the energy will enable you to push hard
and break your muscles. When you break muscles you need protein which recovers, nourishes,
strengthen and grows your muscles and as a result your whole body recovers. So now we
have proteins and carbs. Sugar is very important in your body. You can get it from your natural
resources which is fruit and whatnot and again, fats. So these are called your macro nutrients
which consist of fats, carbs and proteins. We’ll get back to the question in a moment.
Let’s do another set before the weather gets cold. That’s your last set. What we
are going to do is we are going to drop the weight three times. Ok, let’s go. 15, 15,
15. 1, 2. We don’t have a choice here since we have to help him train and answer your

my mind. Everything aside, but I am a vegetarian. Look at the guys of [current] age. Why are
you vegetarian, eat meat and fish. You are going to eat all plantation. Try eggs etc.
So again, for religious purpose or your girlfriend has asked you to be a vegetarian. [He smiles].
Smile at the camera. None of these two. Why are you vegetarian then? Just for no reason?
It’s a long story. We’ll talk about it next time. So again, the good question. So
those of our friends who can eat fish or meat this is your grade. So as I said before he
No.1 thing you need is carbs. And carbs has nothing to do with being vegetarian or not.
Because sources of carbs, there is simple carbs and complex carbs. In a nutshell, in
simple terms there are certain carbs which remain in your body and they are called complex
carbs. Then there are carbs which your body metabolizes on regular bases which are known
as simple carbs. So energy, we have not placed proteins on No.1 but carbs. Carbs are the
best source. Number one is your rice then there are sweet potatoes and lentils. You can
get carbs from everything. Eat your carbs which will give you energy to push forward.
If you reduce your carbs you will strain yourself due to lack of energy. Second comes vegetarian,
your next source is protein. If you, you need protein. If you say that I have taken carbs
or eaten roti and broken our muscle. Now you need protein to recover. So being the vegetarian,
there is no such thing as homemade vegetarian recipe, it’s a make-belief. Being a vegetarian
you have limited sources. I would, based on my 10 to 12 year of experience, tell you highly
to go on protein powders because that’s the fastest way to get proteins into your
body. On an average a protein scoop contains 25 to 30 grams of proteins which is pure.
No fat, no carb and no sugar. Purely proteins are consumed by your body. But those who happen
to live in a country or any rural area who can’t seem to afford proteins shake. Even
abroad in certain countries you may not be able to afford these shakes. Then your sources
are confined and limited. People demand for pulses or Brussel sprouts and stuff, that’s
not possible. You look at the ratio carbs vs proteins. Then your sources goes to your
dairy, like cheese or milk which contain carbs, fats and proteins and these kind of sources.
They also include all your soya or quinoa or lentils. But at the end of the day you
need to supplement your body. Being a vegetarian your No.1 source is whey protein. You obtain
it from milk or by milking a cow. So it’s completely vegetarian. Cow also eats grass
so it’s a win win and your no.1 source. So if you ask that you are a vegetarian how
can you gain weight? The lesson learned is that no.1 is that carbs is important, if you’ll
eat carbs then you’ll have energy. And no.2 is protein which helps your muscle to recover.
Most importantly, no matter how hard you work out in the gym and eat proteins or drink milk,
if you do not sleep your muscle won’t recover. No.1 you’ll eat and then you’ll carry
weights. Then you’ll break muscles and eat proteins and recover your muscles. But you
need to sleep, which basically is how your body recovers and muscles grow. Paaji you
