is to resist movement of the spine. A great exercise to enhance this function
is a Palloff press. To execute the Palloff press, assume an athletic
position, with your feet shoulder-width apart. While gripping the band, bring your hands
to the center of your chest, creating tension. Have your chest out and shoulders back. From the chest, fully extend yours arms and
pause, trying to prevent rotation. Then, return your hands back to your chest
in a controlled movement. It’s important to perform and equal number
of reps on both sides. Bracing the trunk is an integral part in producing
and absorbing forces, which is crucial for all sports. [Outro Music]
