Muscle-Building Workout and Diet

Hello everyone, welcome to my channel if you’re new here My name is Julia and I am a dallas-based flight attendant towards the end of 2019 I was brainstorming and trying to figure out new content ideas for my youtube channel in 2020 I was thinking about different things that I am passionate about in one of those things is fitness as many of you know I was a gymnast for 17 years, but being active has always been a really big part of my life So I thought it would be really cool to start a new section of my channel that is devoted to fitness and staying healthy while traveling always begin my workouts by walking on the treadmill or doing Some form of cardio for 15 to 20 minutes on the treadmill I usually move the incline to 10 to 15 percent and put the speed anywhere from 2 to 3 miles per hour After I warm up I always take a few minutes to stretch because it is so important to do before you exercise This also gives me a chance to get in the right mindset to have a good workout you Especially want to stretch the main muscle groups. You will be working out The first Blake exercise I did was Finch step-up kickbacks I did this holding 10 pound dumbbells on each side I did a total of 3 sets of 10 on each leg Next I moved into three sets of ten at pistol squats on each leg while completing the movement I also pushed the 10 pound dumbbell away from my body I like to focus on my breathing during this exercise breathing in when I squat down and Focusing on keeping my core tight and breathing out when I come up Next I did 3 sets of 10 Romanian deadlifts You’ll notice that I do not use a very heavy weight for any of my exercises as a gymnast I only ever trained with my own bodyweight. So actually using weights and dumbbells for lifting is a transition. I’m slowly making Alright you guys so I am taking just a quick few minute break during my workout But I figured while I take my break I could show you guys this gym and it is a really nice hotel gym Not all gyms at hotels are this nice when you have a gym that has a lot of nice equipment I really try to take advantage of that. There’s a ton of dumbbells right here and a cable machine Some treadmills. There are some bikes right here and I believe this is like a stair stepper machine There’s a seated leg press machine right here Which I will probably use and there’s a chest press and a few other machines over here. So all in all it is a very Nice hotel gym. Alright and let’s get back to the workout Call me Next edit three jumping sumo squats followed by a half twist I repeated the cycle five times for a total of fifteen jumping sumo squats after 15 I would rest and then repeat the entire cycle two more times for a total of 45 jumping sumo squats Next while holding the 10 pound dumbbell I did three sets of ten sidestep lunges on each leg It’s important to keep your core tight and front leg completely straight while doing this exercise Finally the last exercise I did to close out this workout was three sets of ten lunges on each like holding a ten pound dumbbell in each hand I Just got back up to my hotel room But I really hope that you guys enjoyed this like workout that I did if you liked it Please give me a thumbs up and don’t forget to subscribe to my channel So you never miss any of my travel tips and adventures. I will see you next time Bye

  5. I’m so happy you’re doing this Julia! I don’t travel for work but I’m a retail store manager so I do work quite a bit! I can start doing these workouts on my busy days at home! I hate committing to a gym because I don’t know realistically how much I would be able to go!

  6. La rutina de ejercicios diaria es muy buena hasta yo la estoy practicando, saludos desde Guayaquil Ecuador.

  7. Holy moley I know you were a gymnast but your form and balance are incredible. Not to mention your butt is world class. Lol. Well done. Bravo!👍

  8. Love the fitness addition! Like Alena, I would absolutely love if you could show a workout in the hotel room. Sometimes it's not possible to get to the gym! Love all your videos!

  9. You are very fit and disciplined. Which is impressive as you are away from home a great deal.
From a dieting standpoint do you have any tips as far as foods to
Include and other items you limit?

  10. You are such a workhorse 🙂 Sharing your fitness routines is an awesome idea! "Romanian Deadlifts"…love that name lol. I tell you, this channel is a must destination, no matter where your trips to take you. Such an absolute pleasure to be part of the ride!!

  11. Great video and awesome topic to expand into… It is amazing how gymnast both female and male can look so good by working out with mostly their own body weight. I see the results in my own daughter too and the years of training really show. Their warmup routine before competition just blows my mind every time I watch… How about a video about core exercises next?
