The next exercise I am going to demonstrate
is called the front raise and you will do this with dumbbells. Go ahead and grab your
dumbbells. Place your feet at least hip width apart. Navel to spine. Shoulder blades pulled
together. You’re going to turn your palms so they are facing your body. Abs are really
tight. Arms are straight with a soft bend in your elbows. You never want to lock your
joints. You’re going to exhale as you lift. Parallel to the floor and inhale you lower.
Again, exhale lift. Inhale lower. Very good Keep those shoulder blades together and inhale
lower. You always want to keep your body in proper alignment and try out to squeeze the
bars too hard. Keep a loose grip on those bars and lower. Very good. Exhale and inhale.
Make sure you do not arch your back. Try not to round your shoulders forward and lower.
