Hi, this is Andy Wilkinson from SkinnyGainMuscle.com,
bringing you another video lesson on how to gain weight if you’re skinny.
And in this video we’re answering the question: “How Do You Gain Weight Fast In A Healthy
Way?” If you are naturally skinny, then you probably
find it difficult to gain weight. And you’ve probably also realized by now that just eating
lots doesn’t work. You’ve probably tried that, right?
So, even though you want to find a way to gain weight fast, you’re still not interested
in eating a bunch of junk foods, being really unhealthy, and getting fat in the process.
That’s not the kind of weight you want. You want healthy weight.
So how can you gain weight fast in a way that’s healthy?
Well, interestingly enough, there are some very specific things that you can do to help
your body gain weight and muscle in a way that is totally natural, and very healthy.
And I break the process down into 8 very clear and precise steps. So let’s run through them
quickly here. Step ONE is to be very clear about your ‘Daily
Calorie Needs’ each and every day. You need a specific amount to aim for each day, based
on your current weight. Step TWO then is to know exactly what foods
will help you to gain weight, and to make sure that you get these into your meals.
Step THREE is then to learn how to distribute your calories throughout the day. And to have
a reliable and easy way of keeping track of what you’re eating.
Next, Step FOUR is to make sure you have easy access to weights. If you’re skinny and you’re
serious about gaining weight, then lifting weights is essential. So you need to make
sure you have easy access to weights – whether you join a gym, or plan to exercise at home.
Step FIVE is then to create a great workout plan. You need to know exactly what you’re
doing BEFORE you start each and every workout session. And it has to be exactly tailored
for a skinny guy wanting to gain weight and muscle.
Step SIX is then to lift weights. You need to know exactly how often to train, what exercises
to do, what order to do the exercises in, how many reps to do of each exercise, how
heavy to lift – and a bunch of other factors that will help you to gain weight and build
lean muscle mass. Step SEVEN then is to plan for recovery. Proper
recovery is just as important. And training correctly, when it comes to gaining weight,
must incorporate a good plan to recover and recuperate between your training sessions.
So you’ve got to get this bit right as well. And then finally Step EIGHT is to repeat these
steps consistently. You need an effective method for maintaining your motivation, and
following through with the activities you know you need to perform. And you need to
do them over and over again, until you get the results you’re looking for. You’ve got
to make them ‘habits’ that feel totally natural. So that covers the 8 all-important steps on
how to gain weight fast in a healthy way. Okay, that brings us to the end of this video.

Hi, im 16 6ft 3 and weigh about 65kg im superr skinny and anything i try to build weight including high energy drinks called fortisip just dont work, 10st seems to be my barrier, no matter how much i eat or dont eat i always stay around 9st 12. whats the best way for me to gain weight, i think i have a fast motabalisms. how to i counter act this, im really sick of being how skinny i am, please help. thanks

  2. @foreverr896 you'll keep growing for years, don't worry about it.
    What you can do is eat everything you can while you're growing, preferably some vegetables and meat every day, and work out. Pushups, pullups and crunches should do it. I would wait with hitting the weights for a year or two.

  3. Hey, im 5.6 and weigh about 55 kg, i need to gain weight, im dedicated to do all of these steps but i don't know how to get a diet which will work for me…. is there any way some1 can make me a diet? like urself?

  4. im egyption 13 years old my height is 164 and my weight is nearly 50kg …. i trained alot with lifting and other workouts ………usually i eat meals that is appropriate for 2 persons but same results….. well i can say i have some muscles BUT NOT MANY FLESH between the chest , in my shoulders and my whole leg.. and from my elbow to my hand is skinny.. i hope you can send a message fast please

  5. Hey! Thanks for the videos, I find them very helpfull. I was wondering about the "lift heavy" part. I`m not much of a gym type guy. I preffer swimming and i visit the pool 5 time per week for sessions about 40-60 min. depending on how much I push myself. Do you think that swimming will do the job, or do I MUST go to the gym to lift weights? Thanks πŸ™‚

    that if you starve your self your metabolism slows down
    and i think it was you who said if you eat a lot your metabolism speeds up to compensate
    their is just no winning… unless someones lying (unknowingly)

  10. 14 years old, height 5,6 and I weigh 122 pounds I'm pretty lean and it's healthy. I eat like crazy and snack alot but I allways go outside and play sports.

  12. Haha, I remember watching this 2 years ago when I was 130 pounds. I have it bookmarked and just watched… and I just hit 160 pounds. This information is GREAT. For me the main thing is tracking your calories! I used to think I was eating more than enough to gain weight but it turns out I was barely eating enough to maintain my current weight…
