Hey, my name is Erin and I’m a former U.S.
Junior Olympic certified swim coach and personal trainer. And fitness is my passion so, I can not wait
to share it with guys. Alright, the question I get asked most as
a trainer is, “How do I lose my belly fat”? And I am here to tell you no matter how much
training you do, it is 80% diet, 20 % training. Really the 80/20 Rule applies. I don’t care how hard you work, there is no
way you’re going to see your flat abs and all of your hard work unless your diet is
clean. And what do I mean by clean? Well, it means staying away from processed
foods. It means watching your carbs. That doesn’t mean stay away from all carbs. Carbs are good because it’s energy, but as
Americans we tend to eat way too many carbs. It’s just easily accessible. We don’t need that many carbs, especially
not simple carbohydrates, which the body processes really quickly. And if you don’t use it for energy, it turns
to fat ultimately. So, try to get fresh fruits and vegetables
with every meal. Drink at least half your body weight in ounces
of water each day. So, take your body weight in pounds, divide
it in half and whatever that number is that the amount of ounces of water you should be
drinking each day. So, it’s generally a little bit more than
eight cups. That eight cup rule is good, but the more
water you can get the better. Especially, if you’re working out a lot. So, the water is going to wash all of the
toxins out of your body, that’s important for getting rid of fat. Take a look at our ripped abs workout or any
of our core workout, the bikini ready workout, which are great and you should absolutely
do them and they will help. But, without a clean diet and without proper
rest and proper hydration, you’re never gonna see the results that you are looking for when
you are trying to flatten your belly. Another culprit that people often overlook
is salt. Salt is fine, but eat it in moderation. If you have an event coming up or you’re going
to the beach, or you want your belly to look particularly flat one day, really monitor
your salt. Because sodium does bloat you, especially
if you’re a woman and your hormones come into play. Another key to having a nice, flat belly and
keeping the fat off is variation. So, just like you change your makeup and you
change hair products every so often because your body gets used to them, your body…

  3. spot reduction is a myth, no matter how much work you put into your belly it wont be the area your body slims down on. Protip; your body dissolves fat at an even rate over your whole body. amount of water you should drink varies a lot as well

  5. @miggio0 not lazy, have a degree in Biological subjects & 15 years teaching experience & have never seen such claims substantiated . . & don't believe all you see on the internet – ots of idiots put misinformation about.

  6. I've been a police officer for fourteen years and I have to agree with you. When I originally joined the force I just thought everything and everyone was coated in semen and that we could use that to catch criminals, but it turns out it wasn't true.

I agree that one of the #1 questions I get as a trainer is how to lose my belly fat but its often followed (or led by) the question about how to sculpt a " bootylicious booty" which is funny because the answer to that one is the opposite of the flat stomach. Thanks for the great professional video!

  24. Its more of 70 – 30… 70 percent diet and 30 percent exercise. However, you don't always have to punish your self while losing weight, if you wanna have a chocolate, eat it, but make sure to give in extra 10 – 15 min at the gym. I lost 9kgs (18 pounds last year) and have managed to keep them off, i did gain 8 pounds though and lost it again with Jillian Micheals 30 day shred. The best way to lose weight (actual fat) to stop your food intake after 6 pm. do it for 10 days and see the pounds fly off!!

  26. Consume less sugar

    Eat a reasonable amount of calories for you own body

    Drinking some more water could help

    Jog or run

    But honestly the least effective way is to workout your abs

When i was 14 i growing and im getting so fatty i loss my confidence in my school life because of my weight i do so many things such as exercising and cycling and dieting also but there is no difference in my weight my metabolism is stucked then my sister tell me about weight loss program when i was 16 im about 90 kg of height 5'5 and now im 60 kg due to this program im not here for promotion and any other earning reason i feel the unsecurity of fat men and womerns they dont have much confidence in the life so i have to do littel work for them just visit

  28. I used take my time on drinking a gallon of water. But now I drank like its nothing. N I finish a gallon in a HR . I don't mean to do it. It just happened natural.
