  1. Here's my recipe for a Super Healthy, Super Yummy chia seed fix: can either be served cold as a smoothie or brought to the boil for a delicious morning porridge.😋

    Soak 1 – 1 and a half tbsp of rinsed chia seeds in 3/4 of a cup of almond milk overnight.
    Add tablespoon each of sunflower and pumpkin seeds, mixed organic nuts of choice, and chopped dates, I grind all these in my poor long-suffering blender if making porridge.
    Add half a teaspoon each of ground ginger and cinnamon plus quarter teaspoon of nutmeg, (I've a small jar of these 3 premixed),
    Add a little organic fruit of choice. If, like me, you've eliminated sugar,
    frozen banana and kiwifruit best. If making porridge, I also often add a little turmeric and a grind or two of black pepper, for absorption, but no more than half a teaspoon of tumeric, or the whole flavour becomes skewed 😞
    So there we; again, blend and slurp as a smoothie or heat and spoon as a porridge, 😋 and 'twill keep you satisfied for hours 😊 Cheers.

  7. I eat chia a few times a week. 1/4 C chia seeds with
    1/2 C water (soak overnight)
    Next morning:
    Transfer to cereal bowl & add:
    1 T sunflower seeds for crunch
    Whipping cream
    Raspberries on top

  8. Love chia seeds! I make my own almond milk and I soak the seeds in them. I meal prep chia jars with granola and fruit. Great for on the go!!
