I just did my first muscleup 2 days ago! i started watching the thenx videos a few months ago and got the thenx app. i started only being able to do 2 pull ups before maxing out. i couldn't L-sit, I had never done a straight bar dip and i could only do about 10-15 pushups. i followed everything you said for weeks and weeks. i kept getting better and better, my L-sit got better, i can do 40 pushups in a row, weighted pull ups, i can hang by one arm no problem now. and today in about 30 minutes from this post im about to hit the park and improve my form on my muscle ups, do some upside-down deadlifts, and some pullovers for my workout today! Thanks so much man! You changed my life! Next goal for me now is a freestanding handstand, no walls!

  2. The requirements are pretty high. I have recently done muscle up for the first time in my life and i could do only 8 pull ups , 10 dips , 0 l sit. Although, recently i lost a lot of weight and been working out for at least 6 months.

  3. What should be a propper weight to height ratio? For instance, I am 1,95 and I was 97 kg 2 months ago. I was able to bench press 100 kg to put things into perspective and do maybe 6 pull ups perfectly executed. Now I am 86 kg and I am able to make 8 to 9 perfectly executed pull ups. Should I weight less in order to handle my weight better? I still have some fats to get rid off.

  9. i use to be pull up champ in middle school about 15 consistant i can do, 20 sec L Sit i did the other day, can do about 30 push ups non stop, i dont have equipment like this at home, being a truck driver i have no time for the gym, but i am now anxious to buy something similiar to put in my house to try this workout, ive always been upper body strong so i think i can do a muslce up let see lol

  14. Well I did pull-ups for 8 months and got my max up to 19. Then I did regular push-ups for a week. Then I tested if I could push myself up once I get on top of the bar (I got there by jumping and doing something like muscle-up) and it was easy. Then I did muscle-up on first try. I thought I wasn't even close! (my muscle-up is very ugly and I use my legs pretty much as much as possible but… Muscle-up is a muscle-up!)

  16. I got to thanks YouTube for putting thenx vlog on my home page. Now after 2 months of following the workout by Chris n his team, I've lost 7 over kg. N now I'm more toned than b4. Beginning to love my body again :p I can see my abs developing. Yday I just tried to do a plance on dip bar and almost there but not just yet. It's only 2 months. Thanks thenx n Chris for your vlog

  17. My pull up bar is on top of my stairs so if I’m at a dead hang my feet have to be farther out then my body. I can do all the requirements but still no muscle up. I have noticed that on a one arm pull up I can lift my body weight a title not far. But I remember when I first tried I couldn’t move up at all

    Dont take those requirments to serious )and almost a passive hang one arm pull up

  23. I started gym 5 month before but I started calisthenics 2 months now i just don't understand some days I can do 5 muscle up sometime just 1. How often do you suggest to do muscle ups.

  24. Oh, shit… That magic button trick made actually impulse so high, that I do believe I could continue to a full muscle-up right away.
    I can't try it now, because it is a door bar and I can't stand over it, but I will certainly try it as soon as I am able!
