Most people are really surprised when I tell
them that I am 81 years of age. And I say why do you say that? Down and hold. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I want all of my people that I train to love
themselves, to love their bodies. I first started exercising at age 56. We don’t
want, you now, the big muscles. All I want is just that right there. I met Ernestine about 26 years ago. She came to me her and her sister, they wanted me to
help train them to get them into exercise. She wanted to look like me, now she looks
better than me. We started doing aerobics first, then from
aerobics we started lifting weights It took her 7 months to get ready for her
first show. She just wanted to fulfil her dream but it changed her life.
I did this bodybuilding show, I came in first place. We got a call from the Guinness Book
of World Records stating that they thought that I was the oldest female competitive bodybuilder
in the world. Last stretch on your knees.
I love to do motivational speaking on exercise. I also teach many, many classes and I meet
so many wonderful people doing this particular thing. She absolutely inspires me. Mainly because her journey with fitness started so late in
life. I’ll be 46 this Thursday and I’m like you’ve got to be kidding me, I have
the body that wanted 20 years ago. Miss Ernestine is my mentor, I think that
she’s helped to save to life. I’m going to do this until my day is done.
So I’m not thinking of retiring any time soon. As long as I can move my arms, move
my feet, have presence of mind, I will continue this until my last breath is taken.

  1. I guarantee she's on hormone replacement therapy, no way that she's not. Post menopausal women not on HRT will always have somewhat of belly fat issue's wether your eating healthy or not cause your hormones are all outta whack. No I'm not jealous I'm healthy and in pretty darn good shape, from a medical known fact she's on HRT that's how she can maintain the muscle and fat balance. Taught medical for yrs, this I do know.

  2. I saw her on Instagram and showed my mum. She believed it was Photoshopped, especially as her skin was so good. She's gonna be shocked when I show her this!!!

  4. A lot of us expire before our time because of lifestyle choices. Take care of yourself, workout consistently and have a better quality of life.

  12. i truly don't believe she's 82. there's some fraud here definitely. there have been a lot of cases where people exaggerated their age. She 's like 60 or something. i won't believe till i see her passport

  15. There are obviously people out there who are incapable of lifting weights but those who are overweight and have things like diabetes, high blood pressure etc can do this at any age. I was hugely overweight and have a lung condition that makes it necessary for me to be on disability but once I started weight training and walking, my condition has improved no end. I'm fitter now that I was in my 20s and I started when I was 62. To keep me motivated, I watch a lot of exercise youtubes at the free exercise programs. It feels great to be fit and healthy. Slim and fit tastes far better than any unhealthy foods for sure.

Stop letting the world brainwash you and be the best you can be. This woman is an inspiration, a role model and everything people should aspire to be at every age in life. Thank you Sis…
