HAS THE STORY YOU’LL SEE ONLY ON 2. IT FELT LIKE I WAS ON A PLANE AND WE WERE GOING THROUGH HEAVY TURBULENCE. Reporter: MACK LOUGHLIN TOOK THIS PHOTO ON THE VALLEY LINE TUESDAY NIGHT. FOR THE FIRST TWO MINUTES, I LITERATELY HELD ON AS THE TRAIN SHIFTED TO THE RIGHT. AND WE WERE BOUNCING EXCESSIVELY. MACK GLOCK LIN SAID THEY DID NOT STOP THE TRAIN OR OFFER EXPLAIN NEIGHBOR TO CONCERNED PASSENGERS. THEY APPARENTLY DIDN’T MENTION IT TO MJ TRANSIT BECAUSE ONE DAY AFTER MACK GLOCK LIN POSTED THE VIDEO ON TWITTER, MJ APOLOGIZED FOR THE DELAY IN RESPONSE AND ASKING FOR MORE INFORMATION. IT LOCATED THE CAR AND TOOK IT OUT OF SERVICE. WE ASKED MJ TRANSIT TO GO ON CAMERA ABOUT THIS. THEY DECLINED AND CALLED IT A RARE OCCURRENCE. A MECHANICAL ISSUE WITH THE CAR’S IS SPENDING. SHAWN SAYS HE SEEMS TO ENCOUNTER WITH MJ TRANSIT QUITE OFTEN. DELAYS AND CANCELLED TRAINING AND DELAYED CROWDS AND STANDING ROOM ONLY. AS WE HAVE REPORTED OFTEN, HE’S NOT ALONE IN THAT. IT’S NOT GOOD. THEY KEEP SAYING IT’S GOING TO GET BETTER. ANOTHER TWIST IN HIS STORY. TUESDAY’S INCIDENT WAS LIKE DEJA VU. I PERSONALLY THOUGHT TO MYSELF, OH MY GOD, I’M GOING TO BE IN ANOTHER NEW JERSEY TRAIN CRASH. YOU HEARD RIGHT. MCGLOCKIN WAS IN THE FRONT OF THE TRAIN THAT CRASHED IN 2016 KILLING ONE AND INJURING MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE AND HE STOPPED TAKING THE TRAIN FOR MORE THAN A YEAR. I TOOK THE BUS. I DROVE AND I CARPOOLED. AND IT WAS AN INCONVENIENCE. BACK ON THE TRAIN HE WENT, BUT NOW HE WANTS GOVERNOR MURRAY TO MAKE GOOD ON HIS PROMISE TO FIX THE SYSTEM. UNTIL THEN, HE’S GOING TO KEEP

  1. Train crews are harrassed or threatened with discipline if they report defective equipment.
NY MTA partly supports this line and owns some rolling stock so they should be involved in this too.

  2. How about exactly expanding rail service. Ripping up rails to trails and reinstating rail service to give more people cross New Jersey more access to affordable options of transportation. Fuck the environmental hippies.

  3. So everyone’s going to blame NJ Transit crews on the train? This Is the job of a lazy ass inspector at the MMC. If it happens one while leaving a station stop, it’s called slack, and it’s normal. It’s the little jump that usually happens as a lead locomotive starts to pulls the consist.

  4. Can we please also lower the clearly made-for-rich-people fares? Like NJ Transit Train tickets cost more than concert tickets if you riding a line end to end like I do (TRE to NYP and back). This is why I take BoltBus lately. $22 Round Trip from Philly Center City to Midtown Manhattan vs. $35 Round Trip just to go 2/3 of the distance to Philadelphia and still have to pay $18 Round Trip for SEPTA Trenton Line tickets.

  5. The New Jersey Transt train from Atlantic City to Philadelphia suspended opporations 6 or 7 months ago…WHAT'S UP???

  6. If someone is complaining that much, then don’t take the train in the first place. That just cause even more delays.

  7. The only problem i have is that they should have told the passengers that the ride was gonna be a little shaky for a bit due to a defective piece in the car and that car will be taken out of service when the run is finished, simple

  8. If you don't like it then get over it and stop riding the trains. It's not they're fault it's the track condition dipstick.

  9. It always seemed to me that the US doesn't really spend much on their rail infrastructure. I'm from Europe, where you can literally go anywhere using the train.

  10. American trains are among the most dangerous trains in the western world. I wouldn't ride them if I got paid $10,000

  11. Gov. Murphy cut funding to New Jersey Transit because he felt it was more important to pay the college tuition of illegal Aliens living in New Jersey.

  12. Should just turn this entire system into a light rail system, much easier maintanence and the equipment lasts longer, plus cheaper to operate. Trains would be far more frequent too

  13. that happened to me on march 9 too with car number 6038 i don't remember but i think i reported to to njt but i go no response

  14. Complain that the conductors didn’t stop the train – if they stopped the train, they would have complained that the train was late.

Also, didn’t take the train for a year after a crash and instead took a bus/car. Hey buddy, take a look at crash statistics and see which mode of transportation is more dangerous.
